Último día en Madrid. Dos visitas culturales: la exposición fotográfica “La tierra más hermosa, Cuba” en la Casa América del Paseo de Recoletos y la exposición de pintura de Ernst Ludwig Kirchner de la Fundación Mapfre.
En la primera exposición pude ver tres de las fotos de Isabel Muñoz que más me gustan. En ellas se refleja el baile cubano y las curvas de las cubanas. Tres fotografías a tamaño real (bien grandes) para pasarte horas admirándolas.
La segunda exposición fue una sorpresa. No conocía a la obra ni al propio artista, Kirchner. Pinturas de paisajes alemanes, suizos, retratos de compañeros de viaje, autorretratos, mujeres… y fotografías del propio artista que luego utilizaba de inspiración para sus pinturas como colofón.
Después de nuestra última ruta cultural, terminamos en Chueca. Siempre hay mucha gente por las calles, tiendas, bares, restaurantes… de este barrio, ¡otra parada obligada!
Sobre el look, más cómodo no podía ser para turistear por Madrid, unas mallas negras y una camiseta blanca de tirantes. Las zapatillas, perfectas para andar y andar.

The last day, we visited the photo exhibition “The most beautiful land, Cuba” in the American House in Paseo de Recoletos and the exhibition of paintings by Ernst Ludwig Kitchner in the Mapfre Foundation.
In the first show, I saw three photos of Isabel Muñoz that I love. They reflected the Cuban dance and curves of the Cuban women. Three life-size photographs (rather large) to spend hours admiring them.
The second presentation was a surprise for me! I didn’t know the work or the artist himself, Kitchner. Landscape paintings in Germany, Switzerland, portraits of fellow travelers, selfportraits, women… and photographs of the artist which he later used as inspiration for his paintings.
After our last cultural route, we ended up in Chueca. There are always many people in the streets, shops, bars, restaurants… of this neighborhood, another obligatory stop!
About the look, it couldn’t be better for sightseeing in Madrid, black leggings and a white tank top. And the perfect shoes to walk and walk even more!
